Updated 11/03/05:

Digital Persona is now shipping the URU4000B device. The URU4000B is identical in form to the URU4000, but does require an updated driver. Software Version 2.0.2X provides support for both the URU4000 and URU4000B.

Versions 2.0.2X also provides special install procedures for use with Radiant Touch Screen terminals.

Version 2.0.2X software works with either the URU4000 or URU4000B devices.

Please note that when using the URU4000B device, you must use Lone Tree Finger Print ID software version 2.0.2X and Digital Persona URU Gold Driver version 2.5.0.

You can use URU4000s and URU4000Bs together on the same site. The only caveat is that wherever a URU4000B is plugged in you must have the updated Finger Print ID Software (version 2.0.2X) and the Digital Persona Gold Driver version 2.5.0.

If you are updating an existing FOH Terminal, you must first uninstall both the Digital Persona URU Gold Driver and the Finger Print ID for FOH.
